Miss Angelie Diamond Del Toro, age 14 passed August 2, 2010, at her residence Sparta, TN.

Miss Del Toro was born to Francisco Del Toro and Diana Carrero Del Toro on October 2, 1995, in Miami, Fla. Angelie is survived by her parents; siblings, Jason, Ashley, and Frankie of Sparta, TN; Curtis, Julissa, and Shawntay of Port St. Lucie, FL; Joshua of West Palm Beach, FL; and Gary and Raul of New Jersey. She is also survived by a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Angelie touched so many with her love for life, courageous spirit, and unyielding strength. She was a daughter, sister, beloved family member, cheerleader, dancer. She was a friend who could always be counted on for a trip to the skating rink or swimming pool, a shopping trip and a slumber party. Her passion will live on through all those who had the privilege of becoming part of her precious story.

Family will receive friends at Central Church of Christ, on Friday, August 6, 2010, from 6 PM until 9 PM.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, on Saturday, August 7, 2010, at Central Church of Christ. Officiating will be Bro. Jim Fox. Burial will be in Saylors Cemetery in White County.

At the families request in lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Franklin 4 the Cure c/o Lily's Garden 885 Gen. George Patton Drive, Franklin, TN 37067.

On September 18th, 2010, Angelie's family would love for you to join them in a walk supporting Franklin 4 the Cure in Angelie's memory. Franklin 4 the Cure is an organization for Monroe Carrel, Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. All proceeds benefit children's cancer research.
