Adaleen McCormick Cole, age 89, passed away May 13, 2014 at NHC of Sparta.
She was born August 26, 1924 in White County, TN. She was the daughter of Bransford L. McCormick and Mary (Mollie) Elizabeth Holder McCormick.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard Cole; granddaughter, Lee Ann Cole; Sons-in-laws, Kenneth Cash and James Polston; and sister, Johnnie Charles Elliott.
She was survived by her children, David Cole and wife Mary, Ralph Cole and wife Janice; Brenda Polston, Joyce Cash, Pat Gentry and husband Dick all of Sparta; 11 grandchildren, Carolyn Farley, Elizabeth Reed, Cindy Kinnaird, Shelia Felton, Alan Cash, Kelly Cash, Kevin Cash, Eugene Gentry, Denny Gentry, Brent Cole and Courtney Webb; 20 great grandchildren, Becky Jones, Joe Howell, Rebecca Kinnaird, Sarah Kinnaird, Augusta Jones, Dallas Felton, Brittany Cash, Macy Cash, Cody Cash, Ty Cash, David Gentry, Daniel Gentry, Karly Gentry, Cole Gentry, Liam Cole, Serena Cole, Citrouille Cole, Angelique Cole, Piper Webb and Baret Webb; 2 great great grandchildren, Ethan Jones and Caleb Jones; sisters, Frances Hall of Whitwell, TN and Doris Winton and husband Ray of Coalmont, TN; brothers, Clifford McCormick of Coalmont, TN and Paul McCormick and wife Lee of Morrison, TN; special niece, Betty Weber and husband Dave of Sparta,TN. Also a host of nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS
The family will receive friends at Central Church of Christ across the street from funeral home, Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 5:00 P.M. until 8 :00 P.M.
Funeral service will be at Central Church of Christ across the street from funeral home, Friday, May 16, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. Bro. Ray Winton and Bro. Brian McCutchen and Bro. Doyle Crawford will officiate . Interment will be at the Oaklawn Cemetery.
